Senior Product Designer

Job overview

The Senior Product Designer role is hybrid in Seattle, Washington, with at least one day per week in the Seattle office. Compensation is not specified. Housing Connector works to reduce barriers to housing through partnerships with property owners and managers, community organizations, government, philanthropy, and technology. As the organization’s first dedicated designer, this role will lead product design across customer-facing products, internal tools, and brand assets. It will establish reusable design foundations and partner with Product and Engineering to improve experiences for renters, community organizations, and property partners.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end design across customer-facing products, from problem framing and user flows through implementation and release
• establish reusable components, interaction patterns, and design standards
• use research, behavioral data, and qualitative insights to understand users
• partner with Product and Engineering on feasible solutions and ensure shipped work reflects the intended experience
• apply accessibility and systems thinking to product decisions.
