The IT Manager role is hybrid in Elk Grove Village, IL, with one day of work from home available, and pays $100,000–$110,000 per year. The role supports IT operations across Transitions Care locations, an organization focused on clinical excellence and compassionate hospice care. The IT Manager partners with the IT Director to execute departmental strategy, lead support operations, and maintain help desk, endpoint, collaboration, and infrastructure environments. The role builds team capability and resolves and documents issues so they can be addressed at the appropriate support level.

What you'll do

• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues
• direct help desk and support staff and monitor ticket triage, assignment, SLAs, and resolution
• create and enforce IT processes
• report on ticket and asset metrics
• develop knowledge-base articles, training guides, SOPs, and onboarding materials
• administer Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Azure
• oversee MDM, RMM, IT asset management, and help desk platforms
• support network infrastructure and printers
• apply cloud and network security practices
• review SOC reports and incidents
• ensure HIPAA-related IT practices.
