Private Duty Caregiver

What you'll do

• Follow the written Plan of Care and document tasks
• observe client functioning and report changes
• assist with activities of daily living and personal care
• provide companionship and housekeeping
• remind clients about medications without setting them up
• assist with meal planning, food shopping, and preparation
• clean bathrooms and kitchens
• perform errands, laundry, vacuuming, dusting, and bed linen changes
• follow infection control policies
• communicate with supervisors and the interdisciplinary team
• maintain confidentiality and treat clients and families respectfully.
