The Registered Pharmacist (RPh) role is onsite in Chelmsford, MA. Compensation is $59.25 per hour. The pharmacist supports the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy mission by preparing prescriptions and packages accurately, on time, and without disruption to services or production. The role verifies prescription orders and dispensed medications, performs quality assurance, and supervises pharmacy technicians. It helps ensure safe, accurate medication fulfillment in accordance with VA and facility policies and regulatory guidance.

What you'll do

• Verify prescription orders for legend, over-the-counter, medical-surgical, and controlled substances
• assess drug orders against medications at checking stations
• pre-verify medications loaded into dispensing equipment
• verify and fill controlled-substance orders
• perform quality assurance and supervise pharmacy technicians
• document and report according to CMOP and VA policies
• compound and dispense medications within applicable guidelines.
