What you'll do

• Set up, configure, and operate business systems
• administer Windows and UNIX systems, including Linux or Solaris
• plan and manage custom system solutions
• monitor and optimize operations and resource use
• conduct capacity planning
• diagnose and resolve system faults
• perform hardware and operating-system diagnostics
• coordinate troubleshooting with vendors
• install and manage software through testing and production
• document testing, installations, and configurations
• plan preventive maintenance and address issues to minimize downtime.
