Machine Operator – Third Shift (7 PM–7 AM)

The Machine Operator – Third Shift (7 PM–7 AM) role is onsite in Mount Vernon, IL. Compensation is $23.50 per hour. The operator monitors production equipment and product quality, performs changeovers and cleanouts, and prepares finished product for shipment. What you'll do

• Stage and label boxes or super sacks
• prepare finished product for shipment
• collect pellet samples for lab testing
• monitor extrusion equipment and product quality
• record production data and process parameters
• perform product changeovers and clean equipment components
• maintain clean work areas
• monitor operations to minimize defects and downtime
• follow material handling and packaging procedures
• support production operations.
