Addiction Counselor — ADT, CSC-AD, or CAC-AD

The Addiction Counselor role is onsite in Frederick, MD, Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–3 p.m. Pay is $25–$30 per hour. Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health and Concerted Care Group support people across the Mid-Atlantic in rebuilding their lives after addiction; this counselor works with the intensive outpatient program and an interdisciplinary treatment team.

What you'll do

• Facilitate group and individual sessions in IOP programs
• build individualized treatment alliances
• provide addiction and recovery education
• lead case management, assessments, goal-setting, and discharge planning
• coordinate with referral sources, families, and providers
• address co-occurring psychiatric needs with the treatment team
• use Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and trauma-informed approaches
• complete DSM-V and ASAM evaluations
• maintain documentation to state and CARF standards
• and rotate on-call coverage for patient crises a few weeks per year.
