Activity Aide

Job overview

The Activity Aide role is onsite in Oakland, CA, at $25–$35 per hour. Compensation is $25–$35 per hour. The Center for Elders’ Independence provides integrated care for older adults through a PACE program and adult day health center.

What you'll do

• Lead individual and group recreational activities, including art, music, crafts, discussions, outings, and special events
• support the activity program and its documentation
• maintain activity supplies and storage areas
• assist with participant assessments when appropriately certified
• support volunteers and guest instructors
• greet and escort participants
• observe and report changes in mobility, behavior, and alertness
• assist with transfers during activities
• and help maintain a safe environment. Current CPR certification and First Aid training are required.

Why this role
