Veterinary Technician

The Veterinary Technician role is onsite in Hanover, MA, with pay of $20–$30 per hour. Brijon Veterinary Urgent Care aims to provide veterinary care to animals throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and sees scheduled appointments and walk-in cases. The technician supports urgent veterinary care by helping assess and treat animal patients, assisting with procedures, and communicating with pet owners. The role contributes to patient care through clinical workups, medication administration, monitoring, and accurate records.

What you'll do

• Check in patients and triage pets by phone or in person
• obtain patient histories from owners
• perform workups including blood draws, X-rays, and in-house lab work
• assist with surgery and anesthesia and monitor animals after surgery
• administer medications
• check clients out and explain at-home dosage instructions
• maintain accurate patient records.

The clinic is open seven days a week except major holidays, with listed hours of 2 p.m.–10 p.m. Monday–Thursday, 10 a.m.–10 p.m. Friday, and 11 a.m.–7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
