Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician position is onsite in Anaheim, CA, and is full time, Monday through Friday, with participation in an after-hours on-call rotation. The technician supports an apartment community and works with the Community Manager and Maintenance Manager to maintain property safety, appearance, and functionality. By completing repairs, inspections, and upkeep of shared spaces, the technician helps keep the community safe, clean, and well maintained.

What you'll do

• Complete work orders involving basic plumbing, minor electrical repairs, carpentry, drywall, and painting
• perform apartment make-ready duties
• conduct preventative maintenance and assist with inspections
• maintain common-area cleanliness and safety
• report maintenance concerns and hazards
• assist with buildings, grounds, equipment, and vendor coordination
• organize maintenance supplies and tools
• deliver resident notices as requested
• respond to after-hours emergencies through the on-call rotation
• and maintain professional relationships with residents, vendors, and team members.
