What you'll do

• Provide direct nursing care to residents
• direct day-to-day functions of nursing assistants and plan shift services with assigned staff
• admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required
• complete resident records and routine charting
• receive and transcribe physician telephone orders
• prepare and administer medications as ordered
• provide professional services including catheterization, tube feedings, suction, dressing changes, colostomy and drainage-bag care, blood draws, and range-of-motion exercises as required
• provide IV and IV-site care as needed
• monitor staff compliance with safety regulations
• maintain confidentiality of resident information.
