Consumer Litigation Paralegal

The Consumer Litigation Paralegal role is hybrid, based out of Brooklyn, OH, with a typical Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET. Compensation is $20–$30 per hour. The role supports KeyBank’s litigation team and consumer accounts in various stages of litigation. The position independently manages an assigned portfolio, reviews litigation status and documents, and helps determine and execute appropriate next steps. Accurate system updates, coordination with attorneys and internal teams, and timely account documentation support the handling of consumer litigation matters.

What you'll do

• Manage assigned consumer-account portfolios across pre-litigation, post-complaint, and judgment stages
• review state-court litigation documents and pleadings
• update account status and routing in internal systems
• review litigation files and treatment of KeyBank products
• make recommendations or consult outside attorneys
• meet with management about account processes and issues
• respond to inquiries from business lines and vendors
• support internal initiatives and litigation-team projects
• prepare litigation account documentation
• interact with clients and attorneys and maintain accounts
• review invoices and update attorney-vendor billing systems
• refer accounts to vendor attorneys and answer account questions.

Why this role

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certification preferred. Two years of paralegal or litigation-support experience strongly preferred. Overtime may be needed, including possible weekends.
