The role contributes to continuity and quality of care through clinical procedures, patient education, documentation, triage, and coordination of referrals and follow-up.
What you'll do
- Document vital signs, symptoms, history, and other information in the EHR
- assist providers with treatments, procedures, and examinations
- administer medications and perform listed tests
- support minor procedures and monitor patient responses
- maintain patient records and medication inventory
- maintain equipment and supplies
- educate patients
- support quality assurance and clinic compliance
- coordinate referrals and follow up on abnormal lab results
- answer calls, perform triage, and assist walk-in patients.
