It also ensures results are reviewed, documented, and communicated promptly, while maintaining quality controls and instrument readiness for routine and STAT work.

What you'll do

• Prepare patients and collect, handle, and label specimens
• perform laboratory testing
• record and report results
• review results for accuracy
• perform quality control and proficiency testing
• maintain instrumentation
• identify and report critical results in Epic Beaker
• verify instrument function and document corrective actions
• train and supervise students and laboratory staff.
