What you'll do

• Assist with hiring, training, and developing department staff
• ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations
• develop and implement infection control and prevention programs
• oversee antimicrobial stewardship
• monitor resident care activities that may increase infection risk
• lead the Infection and Prevention Control Committee
• update policies and procedures
• educate staff, residents, and families
• maintain program documentation
• coordinate facility-wide education and competency reviews
• participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
