What you'll do

• Develop and execute purchasing strategies and cost-saving initiatives
• negotiate vendor contracts, terms, and pricing
• oversee purchase order preparation and processing
• collaborate with supply chain, inventory, and production teams to forecast requirements and maintain stock
• monitor supplier performance
• identify cost reduction and process improvement opportunities
• maintain purchasing and supplier records
• lead and mentor purchasing staff.
