What you'll do

• Own firmware lifecycle across BIOS, BMC, NIC, GPU, and storage controllers
• qualify versions and manage baselines, staged rollouts, and rollback
• build validation harnesses and automation using management APIs
• define burn-in tests and thresholds
• implement pre-flight validation and blast-radius controls
• lead hardware and firmware root-cause analysis
• manage vendor escalations
• prepare validation for next-generation AMD platforms
• mentor a diagnostics engineer and maintain runbooks
• participate in incident response.
