What you'll do

  • Supervise, guide, and support children and assistant teachers
  • create and implement weekly learning experience plans
  • observe classroom environments and children and adjust lesson plans
  • promote student health, safety, and well-being through a consistent schedule
  • complete daily reports as needed
  • communicate and collaborate with families, staff, and other professionals
  • participate in parent-teacher conferences and continuing education
  • model best practices for assistant teachers.
