What you'll do

• Plans repair work and prepares cost estimates
• uses tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers
• hammers out dents and applies filler resins
• realigns car chassis and frames
• removes and replaces damaged sections
• welds and fits parts
• prepares and repaints vehicles
• inspects vehicles after repair.
