School Social Worker, Part-Time

What you'll do

• Provide individual and group counseling
• assess student needs and develop intervention plans
• implement evidence-based interventions and monitor progress
• collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
• coordinate services with families and community agencies
• consult with staff on behavior, mental health, and social-emotional learning
• develop programs addressing positive behavior, social skills, bullying prevention, conflict resolution, and trauma-informed practices
• maintain confidential records and prepare IEP and support-plan documentation
• respond to crises and develop response plans. Requires a CSWE-accredited master’s degree in social work and Illinois school social worker endorsement
• Safety Care certification is required within three months.
