What you'll do

• Schedule service appointments and gather customer and vehicle information
• greet customers
• prepare written labor and parts estimates and establish promised times
• monitor repair progress and communicate changes
• obtain authorization before additional repairs
• test-drive vehicles or refer them to a test technician as needed
• advise customers on vehicle care and manufacturer-recommended maintenance
• follow applicable regulations and company safety procedures.
