General ledger oversight, reconciliations, financial statements, tax filings, budgeting support, and ESOP accounting help the company monitor operating results and meet its reporting and compliance needs.

What you'll do

• Maintain the general ledger, prepare and post journal entries, classify revenue and expenses, analyze and reconcile accounts, close books, set up accounts, and review capital
• prepare balance sheet reconciliations
• analyze expense accounts
• prepare monthly financial statements and reports
• track depreciation
• prepare and submit state sales and use tax returns
• support quarterly board reporting and annual budgeting
• assist with ESOP accounting and forecasts
• follow company policies and code of conduct.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and at least five years of experience with understanding of GAAP reporting. Intermediate to expert Excel skills required.
