The Program Aide role is onsite in North Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA, on a part-time Saturday and Sunday swing shift from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Compensation is $19–$22 per hour. Joyous Ventures’ Social Services Team supports people and families experiencing homelessness or crisis through interim housing and connections to care and resources. The aide helps maintain a safe, respectful residential environment and supports participants’ daily needs and progress toward stability. Working with behavioral health and case management teams, the role monitors safety, encourages participation in services, responds to emergencies, and documents observations and incidents.

What you'll do

• Welcome and orient participants
• assist with transitions and room changes
• monitor common areas and sleeping quarters
• provide basic guidance and emotional support within professional boundaries
• encourage participation in chores, programming, and services
• enforce program policies
• conduct hourly wellness and safety checks
• report incidents and risks
• respond to medical emergencies and follow protocols
• maintain shift documentation
• perform light housekeeping and support inventory, supply distribution, and room inspections.
