Cost Manager

The Cost Manager role is onsite in Los Angeles, CA, with compensation of $120,000–$145,000 per year. The role manages product costing, inventory valuation, cost analysis, and financial reporting to support operational efficiency and strategic decisions, partnering across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Procurement.

What you'll do

• Partner with Finance, Operations, Procurement, Engineering, and Supply Chain to improve costing and reporting
• develop and analyze standard product costs and cost roll-ups
• monitor inventory costing and valuation
• analyze manufacturing variances and recommend corrective actions
• prepare cost, profitability, and margin analyses
• support pricing decisions and financial models
• support inventory accuracy, reconciliations, counts, reserves, and excess or obsolete inventory analysis
• support budgeting, forecasting, cost reports, internal controls, close activities, and audits.

Why this role

Requires five or more years of cost accounting or manufacturing finance experience, inventory accounting and standard costing experience, and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or MBA is a plus.
