Job overview

The Testing & Outreach Specialist role is based in Washington, DC, with a hybrid arrangement described as one to two telework days per week for most positions after the first 60 days. Compensation is $52,000–$57,000 per year. The Latin American Youth Center’s mission is to empower youth through programs addressing social, academic, and career needs. The role supports sexual and reproductive health programming through testing, outreach, education, client referrals, and follow-up. It helps connect Spanish-speaking clients with PrEP and other social and behavioral services and supports program reporting and coordination.

What you'll do

  • Support sexual and reproductive health testing and outreach programs
  • assist with program implementation, youth educators, testing events, and education workshops
  • recruit and supervise testing and outreach personnel as described
  • train staff
  • maintain grant budgets and order program materials
  • track data in the ETO platform
  • prepare grant reports
  • plan and execute onsite events
  • support tester certification
  • maintain program protocols and records
  • link Spanish-speaking clients to PrEP and other services and conduct referral follow-ups.
