The Licensed Civil Engineer — Site Development & Stormwater role is onsite in Syracuse, NY, with a salary of $95,000–$110,000 per year. The engineer supports Klepper, Hahn & Hyatt’s site engineering and landscape architecture team, working on projects that include residential, commercial, institutional, solar, and green infrastructure development. The engineer designs and delivers site development and infrastructure projects from design and permitting through construction. The work helps create safer, more efficient, sustainable, and attractive places while supporting clients and mentoring junior staff.

What you'll do

• Design stormwater management and perform hydrology calculations
• prepare SWPPPs and erosion and sediment control plans
• design grading, drainage, driveways, sidewalks, potable water, and sanitary sewer systems
• prepare construction plans, specifications, studies, and reports
• prepare SEQR documentation and municipal permits
• provide construction-phase support and occasional field visits
• review work and mentor junior engineers and designers.
