The Robotics Deployment Project Manager is an onsite role in Bolingbrook, IL. Compensation is $115,000–$150,000 per year. Formic’s mission is to make automation accessible to factories through an integrated Robotics-as-a-Service model. The role supports the Fleet Operations Team and customer deployments. The project manager leads robotics automation deployments from scope validation through installation, commissioning, and close-out. By coordinating customers, internal teams, and third-party integrators and managing plans, budgets, risks, and issues, the role helps deliver systems on time, on budget, and to specification as Formic scales its deployed fleet.

What you'll do

• Lead deployment projects from scope validation through installation and commissioning
• partner with Applications and Solutions Engineers and third-party integrators to define requirements and validate scope
• manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation
• monitor deadlines, quality, and cost targets
• resolve technical, operational, and scheduling issues
• coordinate communications
• drive handoffs from pre-sales through close-out
• improve deployment and project management processes.
