Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant role is onsite in Irving, TX. Pay is $45,000–$60,000 per year. The position supports accounting close, general ledger, accounts payable, and external audit activities at Lawn & Garden LLC.

What you'll do

• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• research reconciling items and unusual general ledger activity
• process and review vendor invoices using two-way and three-way matching
• investigate invoice discrepancies with vendors and internal departments
• prepare and post journal entries
• support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
• assist with intercompany accounting and fixed assets
• prepare audit schedules and documentation
• respond to ad hoc requests
• help strengthen accounting processes, controls, and recordkeeping.
