The role also analyzes litigation risks, advises clients, and maintains responsive communication and case reporting.

What you'll do

• Manage insurance defense and civil litigation caseloads
• develop litigation strategies
• handle discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, mediations, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation
• represent clients in premises liability, motor vehicle, professional malpractice, construction, New York Labor Law, and municipal matters
• analyze liability, damages, coverage, and risks
• draft litigation documents
• communicate with clients, insurers, claims professionals, opposing counsel, and stakeholders
• provide timely case reporting.
