Survey CAD Technician

Job overview

The Survey CAD Technician role is onsite in Huntersville, NC; the position may require field work. Compensation is not specified. The technician prepares and revises survey drawings, processes field data, and supports accurate surveying and geomatics project delivery. The role works with survey crew chiefs, project managers, and technical staff to resolve data questions and meet project deadlines.

What you'll do

• Prepare and revise survey drawings, plats, and exhibits using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Trimble Business Center
• coordinate with survey crew chiefs and project managers to resolve discrepancies
• assist with legal descriptions, boundary computations, easement exhibits, and related documentation
• maintain project files and survey data
• review drawings for accuracy and completeness
• support multiple projects and deadlines.
