The Registered Nurse (RN), Private Duty Pediatric Night Shift role is onsite in Crawford, MS, with self-scheduling for in-home care. Pay is $40 per hour. Knit Together Healthcare provides private duty nursing for a medically fragile child in a one-to-one home-care setting. The nurse works independently in the child’s home, follows physician orders, and supports the quality of life of the patient, family, and caregivers through nursing care and communication.

What you'll do

• Provide one-to-one in-home nursing care for a medically fragile 14-year-old child
• follow physician orders in the plan of care
• recognize and communicate changes in the patient’s condition
• manage pain and discomfort
• perform prescribed therapeutic interventions
• educate the patient and family
• administer medications and nutrition via G-tube
• maintain airways through necessary interventions.
