What you'll do

• Assist the Director of Nursing with day-to-day administrative functions
• report to necessary personnel
• monitor facility infection-control procedures and policies as Infection Prevention Specialist
• participate in staff development classes, training, and orientation
• review and revise care plans and assessments
• make nursing-service rounds
• monitor absenteeism and staffing adequacy
• maintain liaison with residents, families, and support departments.
