What you'll do

• Lead and manage design teams during conceptual and development phases
• develop action plans and resource estimates
• evaluate vendors
• monitor project progress, costs, and estimates
• revise plans with design teams as requirements change
• prepare project status reports
• review systems and processes for efficiency and quality improvements
• troubleshoot technical issues with operations teams
• coordinate with engineers across locations
• manage and delegate work to junior engineers.
