The Dietitian role is onsite in Pinardville, NH; compensation is not specified. Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Concord is part of a national inpatient rehabilitation provider focused on post-acute care and patient well-being. The dietitian assesses patients’ nutritional needs and develops and implements dietary care plans to support health and rehabilitation. The role provides nutrition counseling and education, monitors intake and status, and coordinates recommendations with physicians and other care disciplines.

What you'll do

• Counsel patients according to physician orders and diet instructions
• communicate with physicians and other care disciplines
• evaluate referral orders and nutrition intake methods
• document pertinent information in medical records
• implement nutritional care plans and adapt menus for special dietary needs
• conduct calorie counts and make recommendations
• review, revise, and approve menus for nutritional adequacy.

Why this role

Requires registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and state licensure, plus a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Food and Nutrition from an accredited institution. Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics membership and one year of clinical dietetics experience are preferred.
