The fabricator lays out, fits, welds, and assembles structural metal products and parts according to drawings and specifications. The work supports production of the company’s engineered systems and includes operating fabrication equipment and following safety procedures.

What you'll do

• Review drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work orders to plan layouts
• verify work pieces against specifications
• position, align, fit, and weld materials to AWS specifications using MIG welding
• repair and finish products
• operate shears, presses, cranes, forklifts, grinders, torches, drills, and hand tools
• maintain tools and follow safety procedures. Other duties may include installing electrical components and washing, priming, or painting parts.
