Compliance and Legal Intern

Compliance and Legal Intern is an onsite, full-time summer internship at LRS’s corporate headquarters in Springfield, IL, from mid-May to mid-August 2027. Compensation is $18 per hour. The intern works alongside the centralized Compliance and Legal teams, which support compliance operations across LRS product lines.

What you'll do

• Conduct legal and regulatory research
• assist with compliance reports, presentations, and documentation
• support audits and risk assessments as needed
• participate in compliance training and help develop training materials
• maintain accurate records and organize compliance documentation. The intern will also have the opportunity to choose a special project aligned with their interests.

Why this role

Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate program and pursuing Law, Business Administration, Political Science, or Public Policy studies, with at least two years of coursework including four relevant courses, or have one year of related professional experience. Permanent U.S. work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
