The Inclusion Leader — After-School Enrichment position is onsite in Santa Monica, CA. Pay is $19.75–$21 per hour. The role supports YMCA youth programming under the supervision of the Youth Development Coordinator. The Inclusion Leader works individually with a participant with special needs, supports inclusion and behavior strategies, and helps lead daily activities. The role contributes to participant safety, well-being, learning, and engagement while communicating with staff, supervisors, and families.

What you'll do

• Facilitate a participant’s inclusion in the program
• work individually with a participant with special needs
• support safety, well-being, and personal care
• implement behavior strategies
• supervise and encourage participants
• plan and facilitate activities, academic enrichment, games, and crafts
• communicate with supervisors, staff, participants, and parents
• maintain participant documentation
• share resources and strategies with staff.
