Quality Manager

The Quality Manager works fully onsite in Warwick, RI, and supports quality at both the Warwick, RI, and Waterbury, CT, locations. The base salary range is $66,551–$84,006 per year; a variable compensation bonus may be available based on company performance. Wieland manufactures, processes, and distributes copper and copper alloys. The manager maintains the registered quality system, drives continuous process improvement, and works to increase customer satisfaction. The role leads quality planning, customer-complaint investigations, corrective actions, and documentation while supporting safety and business objectives.

What you'll do

• Maintain the ISO quality system and meet customer automotive and electronic requirements
• prepare and communicate the annual Strategic Quality Plan
• collaborate with customers on quality and improvement issues
• lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for customer complaints
• represent Wieland Global Services with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors
• prepare quality reports, work instructions, SOP drafts, and visual aids
• use problem-solving tools such as A3/8D, 5-Why, and Ishikawa diagrams
• support WMS QMS and business goals.
