Residential Audio-Visual Service Technician

Job overview

The Residential Audio-Visual Service Technician role is onsite in Dublin, CA, with compensation of $40–$45 per hour. Bravas designs and delivers luxury residential technology, including lighting, shades, audio-visual systems, networking, and home automation. The technician maintains and troubleshoots installed smart-home systems to restore reliable performance and provide a strong client service experience. The role coordinates recurring service issues, parts, and repairs with the service manager and communicates with manufacturer technical support when needed.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and resolve issues with Control4, Lutron Homeworks, Savant, and Crestron systems
• configure and troubleshoot networks, control systems, audio-visual and surveillance equipment
• use remote access tools
• set up remote monitoring and support plans
• document recurring issues
• coordinate with manufacturer support
• manage replacement parts and orders
• recommend potential upgrades
• maintain work-order, time, and job-cost records
• participate in an on-call rotation as assigned.
