The Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Employment Specialist / Job Coach is an onsite, full-time role in Troy, OH, paying $18.00–$21.60 per hour. RT Industries supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and school-aged students, helping people build skills, reach personal success, and secure employment. The Employment Specialist helps individuals develop the skills to obtain and maintain work through coaching, training, and career planning. What you'll do

• Coach and train individuals with disabilities to develop skills for obtaining and maintaining employment
• participate on individual planning teams and maintain positive working relationships
• coordinate appointments with prospective employers and vocational rehabilitation counselors and attend as requested
• document progress, strengths, and needs, including required progress notes, DODD and ISP documentation, incident reports, and wage reports
• explore careers and match individuals with local business staffing needs
• implement long-term supports and extended services
• advocate for individuals and promote economic independence.
