Commercial Program Manager

The Commercial Program Manager role is onsite in Los Angeles, CA. The base salary range is $150,000–$250,000 per year, plus equity. K2 Space builds high-power satellite platforms for commercial and US government customers. The program manager guides commercial customer projects from early requirements through acquisition and execution. The role aligns customer needs with K2 products, coordinates technical and contractual work across teams, and tracks schedules and mission readiness to support successful delivery.

What you'll do

• Lead commercial customer proposals, opportunity responses, contract scoping, and technical definition
• serve as customer point of contact to resolve issues, negotiate requirements, and coordinate technical and contractual changes
• coordinate spacecraft readiness, change impacts, mission CONOPS, schedules, and contract requirements
• communicate program schedules and mission readiness to management, executives, and customers
• plan and lead customer reviews and deliverables
• develop and brief technical content on designs, trade studies, risks, and issues
• maintain customer, partner, and stakeholder relationships.
