Under a licensed nurse’s supervision, the CMT administers and records medications and treatments, monitors residents for reactions, reports changes, and performs routine tasks that support residents’ health, comfort, and well-being.

What you'll do

• Administer physician-ordered medications under licensed-nurse supervision and in accordance with regulations and community policy
• apply the five rights of medication administration
• record medications and treatments
• take and record vital signs when assigned
• report medication reactions and resident changes
• maintain infection-control practices and the medication room
• communicate with medical staff and department supervisors
• attend required training and meetings.
