What you'll do

• Perform dental procedures within the dentist’s comfort level, including examinations, restorations, simple extractions, and root canals
• cases may be given to another doctor if the dentist is not comfortable performing them
• assess patients using histories, examinations, and diagnostic imaging
• develop individualized treatment plans
• maintain HIPAA-compliant records
• use Dentrix Ascend for charting, scheduling, billing, and records
• follow infection-control protocols
• collaborate in four-handed dentistry
• explain treatment options, post-operative care, and preventive oral health strategies.
