The Compliance & Risk Analyst, Audit & Controls role is hybrid in Owings Mills, MD, with two onsite days per week. Compensation is $30–$34 per hour on W-2 for a six-month assignment, with potential extension. The analyst supports technology audit, compliance, and operational risk initiatives within a financial-services technology organization. The role helps strengthen the organization’s control environment by executing control reviews, supporting audits and risk assessments, analyzing data, and coordinating remediation. It also manages workflow requests and prepares evidence and documentation for audit reviews.

What you'll do

• Triage audit deliverables and client due-diligence requests
• support audit programs, technology controls, operational risk, and compliance initiatives
• execute control reviews and lookback analyses
• analyze data and validate control effectiveness
• manage ServiceNow queues and workflows
• gather audit evidence
• track and document control gaps and remediation
• monitor compliance with policies and regulations
• participate in risk assessments and control testing
• prepare audit and stakeholder materials
• identify process improvements.
