The Registered Behavior Technician role is onsite in Washington, DC, at one of the organization’s DC locations. The part-time schedule is 2:00–6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, with summer hours of 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Pay is $28 per hour. Step-By-Step Therapeutic Services provides behavioral health and therapeutic services to children and families in the Washington, DC area. The technician implements individualized Applied Behavior Analysis plans under a Board Certified Behavior Analyst’s supervision. The role documents behavioral data, delivers ABA interventions, supports client skill development, and works with families and the multidisciplinary team while following ethical and confidentiality standards.

What you'll do

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision
• collect behavioral data and document session progress
• deliver discrete trial training, natural environment teaching, and other ABA interventions
• support communication, social, and daily living skills
• maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and team members
• participate in meetings, training, and professional development
• follow ethical and confidentiality standards.
