CNC Laser Programmer

The CNC Laser Programmer role is onsite in Virginia Beach, VA, with compensation of $55,000–$65,000 per year. What you'll do

• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for laser cutting, punching, bending, and other fabrication equipment
• interpret drawings, CAD models, blueprints, and customer specifications
• create nesting layouts to improve material utilization
• verify programs before production release
• collaborate with Engineering and Production to improve manufacturability and cycle times
• troubleshoot programming and machine issues
• maintain program libraries, revision control, and documentation
• support first-article inspections and production validation
• recommend process improvements
• assist with machine setup and tooling selection
• support CNC operators with technical guidance and training
• follow safety and quality requirements.
