Mohs Medical Assistant

What you'll do

• Room patients and verify information, medical history, and visit purpose
• collect and process specimens in compliance with CLIA regulations
• explain procedures, medications, aftercare, and provider instructions
• clean and sterilize instruments and assemble surgical trays using sterile technique
• document visits and charges
• make post-procedure follow-up calls
• assist providers with examinations and treatment, including handing instruments, injections, suture removal, and phlebotomy
• clean rooms and restock inventory.
