What you'll do

• Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and histories, reconciling medications, and documenting in the electronic health record
• assist providers during examinations and procedures
• administer medications, injections, immunizations, EKGs, point-of-care tests, and collect specimens within scope
• coordinate labs, referrals, refills, and follow-up
• educate patients
• maintain exam rooms and safety standards
• document encounters and orders
• collaborate with providers and clinic staff.
