Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift

The Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift role is onsite in Troy, OH, with scheduled hours Monday through Friday, 2:15 p.m. to 10:45 p.m.; training on first shift is required. Pay is $24–$27 per hour. ARC Abrasives manufactures non-woven abrasives and this role supports its maintenance team. The technician maintains safe, reliable production by installing, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment and facility systems. The work includes preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, accurate work-order records, and efforts to reduce downtime and production disruptions.

What you'll do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment and facility systems
• complete preventive maintenance and records
• track breakdowns, downtime, and labor hours in the MVP software system
• follow lockout/tagout and personal protective equipment procedures
• coordinate preventive maintenance schedules
• troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, control, and HVAC systems
• operate forklifts and scissor lifts.
