• record vital signs and provide catheter, IV, and respiratory care within license limitations
• document nursing notes and resident responses
• address safety risks
• monitor ancillary services
• communicate with residents, families, physicians, and facility personnel
• implement care plans and recommend changes
• follow infection control and HIPAA requirements.
